are a group of biologists, that share the same passion: Botanic. We love to
study vegetal species to discover their essences, their biochemical unique features.
When we see a plant we see an old friend; we'd like to bring you this passion,
this love.
We are all friends, because we studied together in the
same University and even if we live now in different towns, we remain in contact
and want to make this e-zine to meet again and to share once again our passion
for this science. So we hope to give to you a completely free

Healthy
is an on-line magazine about the alternative medicine called 'herbal medicine',
based on the effects of biological active substances contained in herbs and
plants in general. This is a scientific, botanic approach to herbs. A group
of biologists give you monthly information medicinal about plants, how to farm
them and about the active substances contained inside food derived from vegetal
world. Herbal Medicine. When you hear of Natural Medicine probably you'll think:
does it work really? or is it simply a superstition, derived from Middle-Age?
Here's the answer. Herbs are biologically rich with several chemical substances,
some of which have an effect on human biology. For instance, I can talk about
muscarine, extracted from Amanita muscaria, a poisonous mushroom. It is used
in Medicine. Another plant is Atropa belladonna, that give us atropine, the
medicine that enlarges eyes pupils. We also will deal with farming of the plants
we will mention along the way.
